TBI to Self Discovery
In 2009 I had a traumatic brain injury while trying to play rugby for Jesuit high school. That day I began a long journey of healing and growth. I have been fortunate enough to have met many inspiring people whose work revolves around healing people mentally, physically, emotionally. My recovery is ongoing but today I focus on being present and grateful! I have had help from countless people I cannot possibly remember all of them. But even if I don’t recall it I will always appreciate it. I reflect everyday on how much love I have been shown and will always be grateful! View all posts by TBI to Self Discovery
Thank you, John, for enlightening me. My son, also has TBI. He has struggled in many similar ways. He has found his niche though, and has his own landscaping business. I’ve stuck by him thru thick and thin. Yesterday, I was thinking that he has turned out to be a wonderful, caring, loving, and brilliant young man. TBI struggles are real. God bless you John.
